Be a tough game, hopeful we can get a win there though. Hopefully have the likes or Murphy, Wright & Doig back to choose from.

I don’t think Stevenson deserves to be dropped and in fact liked the partnership with Murphy and himself.

Three league wins on the spin for them. Tough game.

Has it been confirmed that they are offering it to us since we didn't offer it to them on the opening day of the season?

Nah but I would doubt they would turn down the money tbh. Bowie is a sound guy too so wouldn’t tit for tat.

Surely that would mean stopping their own support paying for ppv as well?

Pretty sure it'll be available. Good price too!

Fair enough, I just remember reading complaints from Cathy Jamieson at the time and a statement from her to say that Kilmarnock had written to Hibs to convey their disappointment at the decision.

It would but that's effectively what we did in August.

It was the very early days of PPV and we clearly had issues and said we couldnt facilitate it.

The amount of tears and snotters expended over a nothing issue is pathetic, I didnt hear quite as many complaints about Livingston charging the ludicrous sum of £20 for their matches.

Frankly there are enough wallopers in the media happy to put the boot into Hibs without our own fans doing it.

n.b. If Killie deliberately withheld the PPV for Hibs fans next week, then that would be far worse than what happened in the opening game where we couldnt do ppv for anyone.

And that would be a silly financial decision for any club to make, much like it was by us for that game

Which Hibs fans are putting the boot into Hibs?

This is going to be very tough since they seem to be on a roll and that pitch at killie is murder. My hope is that with their tails up and at home they will come at us and allow a more open game. Our defence has been very good, but sometimes we look to be struggling against more packed defences. Murphy back would be a big bonus. A tight game game but a Hibs win 2-1

Why would they willingly turn money down?

I thought it was possible after what happened with the first game.

Can't see it. We didn't do first game imo because Hibs wanted to ensure best service for Hibs fans. Now it has been running for a while that shouldn't be an issue. Can you imagine the wailing on here if Killie fans had been allowed on and the stream was poor for Hibs fans.

We didn’t offer it because we couldn’t facilitate it at the time. It would be incredibly petty of them not to.

How many thousands of hibs fans not just Edinburgh across the world will buy the game
Probably more than what would travel to the game itself in normal circumstances
Killie are not going to turn that money down

If it was really the case that more would buy than would attend, the clubs wouldn’t be as desperate as they are to get fans back in.

Could the PPV chat maybe be moved to another thread?

TBH, it's become really boring as it's been done to death on here already.

Didn't realise this but if they win their game in hand they're only 4 points behind us, really important to beat them

Fans pay a lot more to attend than the £12:50 to watch on PPV.

I think PPV for overseas fans might be here to stay. But welcoming fans back in person isn’t just about the financials, it’s about the habit and sense of community that supporters get from attending matches.
