Original was sung by a Jambo too, I believe.

Also a bit dated, a very 90s sounding track and it doesn't really have the same staying power like GGTTH.

Depending upon who owns the copyright, I'd love to see Hibs work to get a new version recorded by RVC.

It's no bad. But doesn't have the j'en ai se quoi of the original, or the backing vocals!!

Superb. Would love to see another Hibs album released. Loads of talented hibee musicians out there just now.

Still like the 90s one, some cracking tunes on there. Some not so cracking tunes also 😂

It was but his band played in the Hibs Club for years.

Liked it, but, missed the zoom at the beginning, prefer the original but not worried about jazzing it up, maybe should try making a deep house version too

100% agree. Taking the "cheesy" out of it just makes it a bit mediocre for my tastes. Not a bad effort but the original is an absolute banger.

Listened to it a few times and I like it.

Like the original but nice to hear a more recent version.

Would be cool if Hibs did release more songs. The club has a great fan base and also has several musical connections - showing we are more than just a football team.

I think it's excellent. Is the lead singer any relation of Garry O? He's got a bit of the same look.

I love that song always have. It's not even like a football song if that makes sense. Always get emotional when I hear it.

Sorry to be pedantic but the original was late eighties - 1988 to be specific. Same year that sunshine on leith was released and also same year I went to my first game.

This new version is a good for a wee change but the original will always have a special place in my heart. I had it on vinyl, complete with “Duff Records” sticker on it.
