Well had to happen to some big star eventually. Hope health-wise he's back fit and well with no consequences for his longterm wellbeing.
Interesting to see what develops now from a contractual perspective if anything..."We know the people who have invested so far are simple fans." Vladimir Romanov - Scotsman 10th December 2012
"Romanov was like a breath of fresh air - laced with cyanide." Me.

The number of players on international duty that are either testing positive for Covid, or having to isolate due to contact with someone who has, makes me seriously question the wisdom of going ahead with international matches just now.
As well as the health dangers to the individuals involved, this is also increasing the risk to domestic football.

Lets hope the super fit athletes don't inadvertently pass on to any of the vulnerable though.

Got quite the reaction from that 😬 I was just pointing out there have been no deaths, wasn’t insinuating anything.

Be patient, it'll be a negative result tomorrow when they re-test but he'll be banned from playing anyway....

Realistically, most players can expect to test positive at some point, all the testing achieves is to control the numbers at any one time.
Which is much the same as what's going on for the rest of us.

But no one has said pro footballers are likely to suffer personally from Covid. It’s about protecting higher risk groups.
Has the past six months passed you by?

From the article - Christiano Ronaldo has tested positive for Corona virus ......Ronaldo, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, is assymptomatic and now in isolation."
So - he has tested positive for SARS-COV2 but is not experiencing symptoms. It could well be a false positive which is pretty commonplace.
PS - I claim petty smart arse of the week award
