Surprised with that as I thought he would go with 4 at the back. Playing Doig tends to mean we’re playing 3-5-2 and that might play into Celtics hand somewhat.

Certainly hard to argue with the team from last week starting again, though I'd have probably given Stevenson a starting spot for this one were it up to me (thankfully it isn't).

Good for young Doig that the manager has so much faith in him. Glad to see we're still sticking with our pretty attacking shape away to Celtic.

No Eduard for celtic. It's in the stars I tell ya.

I’d potentially have started Stevenson today. Felt Doig was exposed a little last week and Tav went passed him with ease a few times. Frimpong could rip him a new one today.

Hopefully does a bit better today though

I would expect to see Frimpong somewhere in their team then.

Murphy aside I think our bench looks weak from an attacking perspective.

Leigh back in squad and on the bench. Something else might be written in the stars

Two unproven youngsters and a midfielder who divides opinion. Looks weak to me.

Yep, many are happy to go with the two youngsters. If we are to be challenging this high in the league for the season I think we need better other options up front.

Agree, Doig could be in for a torrid 90 minutes.

If Doig is going to get better he needs to play in games like this, I Understand the thoughts on having Lewis in but hopefully this lets the young lad see that the manager trusts him and he goes on to have a blinder.

Doig will hopefully have Wright to help him out

These are the types of games where the young lad will gain most experience - no problems with him being in the team, expect Lewis to replace him at some point though, hopefully later ...

Jack Ross clearly trusts Gullane to be the main back-up striker this season, nothing wrong with that IMO - especially after COVID.

Frimpong gave Lewis a torrid time, so maybe work. Needs support though.

Think we have to accept that there will be no money to bring in anyone except another centre mid.

In a stronger SPL I'd agree. The league this year is garbage. We'll be 4th at worst.

Their bench looks stronger than their starting 11.

Anyone know what time the coverage on HibsTV starts? Do we have any pregame content for away days?

I think we’re fine, 2 strikers good enough to start at any side out with the old firm, then Gullan looks like a player with good potential. We really don’t have to play with 2 up top if we have injury problems either.
