    October - 7 games

Really looking forward to the month of October. Seven games, all very winnable.

Kilmarnock the only one even up for debate IMO. Should be winning the other 6.

Yep. Big ask to win 7 in a row and we will no doubt drop points somewhere, but a great chance to really set ourselves up for a good season this month.

Got to say I’d be a tad disappointed if we didn’t have 7 wins in October.

I'd take six losses if we won the seventh.

I wouldn’t. This Hibs team are more than capable of deal with Hearts at Hampden. But we should be looking to win all seven games. Killie away is a difficult game but winnable

If we don't let the standards slip and can perform like we have done this season we should be going into the Hearts game in very rich form.

History probably tells us that Hibs don’t win seven in a row very often.

However, four of them are against lower league teams so it should be achievable. Friday is big to get us going again. Winning that would be a really good points return from the first ten games.

Cup games will allow Murphy to get up to speed, a chance for Mallan to stake a claim and get Wright playing in his favoured wide right position. Maybe see what Gullan and Shanley can do too.
Hopefully there will be at least one more signing to bed in since we could definitely have done with more muscle in midfield yesterday.
Cove away would have been tricky under normal circumstances but the lower league sides will be up against it.

I think it’s an opportunity for Mallan to save his Hibs career to be honest. He needs to do something to push himself forward. With Allan missing, I think he’ll be disappointed to have featured so little, especially given that Wright has played out of position ahead of him.

Expect to see a very different team next Wednesday.

We must rotate the team for the cup ties, probably as much as we can.

Gray, McGregor, Lewis, Gullan, Mallan, Hallberg, Shanley and Barnes all need to play. If we get proper gametime in their legs, we'll have a fully fit squad ready for the next set of league games, and the Hearts semi.

I suppose being able to watch live any of the League Cup matches is out of the question.

I’m hoping we are able to buy the home game v Brora from Hibs, but 2 of our games are on Premier Sports
Only game we might not be able to see is Forfar away, although a lot of the lower league teams have been streaming their games to season ticket holders etc
Would be crazy for Forfar not to try and cash in on this game

I'm also hoping to see Mackie getting game time in these Cup ties as he completes his rehab.

Clubs are able to sell their group games through PPV if they're not being shown by Premier Sports.

Just looking at the fixtures for the next few matchdays, without sounding like a drama queen, Friday is a must win match to make sure Aberdeen, Dundee Utd and Killie etc aren’t catching us by the end of October.

Don't think we have to worry about Dundee United tbh. They look average at best.

Yeah, to be fair though, with Shankland they will be more dangerous.

    He’s been injured!

It’s more about the formation - harder to see where Mallan fits into a 4-4-2 with two wingers.

Win the semi. Convincingly. That’s all.

Aye the league is important. But I want revenge.
