    DONT!

That Hecky game in the Scottish Cup still gives me sleepless nights

I can guarantee if Lenny was our Manager that night Celtic were out

There is no way he would have allowed Broonie the freedom of Easter Road

To answer your question YES better to have fought and lost than not have fought at all

    Fortune favours the brave

Who knows one might have gone in

We will never know because the keeper was never tested

He looked dodgy first half when he spilled Squirrel’s cross
So, have you written Ross off then? In your mind, hes done exactly what you find so unacceptable.

Mind when ''Lenny'' went to Celtic park off the back of 4 wins, changed the team putting Milligan at centre back and we got pumped 4-2? Hardly won another game until we punted him.

One off matches against celtic, especially away, are not a metric to judge anything. Winning the next 2 league matches before going to Kilmarnock is far more important.

I haven’t gone through the thread so it might have been mentioned already, but with the likely fixture congestion coming up and the lack of rest and preparation this summer, teams like us yesterday are probably subconsciously saving energy for the next game when you go 2-0 down. It’s not what you ideally want to see but sort of understandable. I definitely see that with some of the runaway score lines we’ve been seeing in other leagues recently.

A 3-0 defeat isn’t always what it seems; certainly we were competitive from what I saw of the first half.

Naw the one at Easter Road 0-2 one of Hecky’s first games

Hecky thought it was a good idea just to sit back

Scott Brown scored one of the goals IIRC
i mis-read it, thought it was the Hamden game just before he got sacked.

Couldn’t believe it that night we just sat off them

    No threat no urgency

    No high press

Now that one WAS a disgrace - far removed from yesterday. One of the most insipid displays I can remember from us.

I think Hecky’s card was marked by a lot of fans that day.
