Game postponed due to one confirmed case, and all Grimsby players to enter isolation as per medical advice.
How do Scottish games get to go ahead in the same circumstances then?

Probably a different degree of exposure. Scottish sides have had to demonstrate distancing, maybe these sides couldn’t do that

I'd hope the SPFL has a policy in place to deal with such events, because they will happen, and any policy needs to be in place in advance before teams have a corner to fight.
The obvious policy is to rearrange a game but since there are very few spare fixture dates a fall back position is needed eg matches treated as 3-0 win to the other team, as a 0-0 draw or even not played and the league then decided based on average points.
Of course, it's the SPFL and even if Doncaster has thought through this the various clubs won't be able to agree on any proposal anyway.Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.
