    gregor cowan

    Another former director of Hibs has died after being ill for a couple of years.Gregor was a well known Leither-he ran his accountant's business from Constitution Street for many years and will be well known because of that or his long spell as an officer in the 1st Leith B.B.A Hibbie through and through Gregor was one of the good guys.

    Last spoke with him at the beginning of the year. Regardless of the setting he always spoke Hibs, usually positively and with a smile on his face.

    Sad to read this. Gregor was my Dad’s accountant and good pal. Not many left from Kenny Waugh’s board now. Sad times.

    Very sad. A few years ago I had the opportunity to register a racehorse colours. I went for green body with white sleeves. I was told it was already registered to a Mr Gregor Cowan!! RIP Gregor, one of the good guys.

    Yes Gregor and his wife,Lyn , used to enjoy being in the Owners Club.He managed to have winners on the flat,hurdles and chasing.

    I knew Gregor well.... a nicer man you couldn't meet. Condolences to his family and friends.
