    Allan & Murphy

Sky showed Allan & Murphy in the stand at one point during the game both with earpieces & radios ? Any ideas why ? Extra set of eyes for the management team ?

taking over the role of eyes in the up top with S.McGinn making the bench. Excellent to hear of trust and opinion being shared amongst the squad.

It’s a great idea, shows trust and is a really clever way to develop the players’ tactical knowledge while they’re unavailable. There are loads of benefits in doing something like this, and kudos to Ross for putting it in place.

Superb management by Ross. Building a great team mentality. It shows in the defensive work but we attack with purpose.

Iirc Eddie Turnbull used to sit in the stand for periods during games. He said it was easier to judge how a match was progressing and what changes he had to make.
