Absolutely everywhere today. What a player he’s becoming.

Last two performances have been excellent. I had my doubts, but he's absolutely throwing it in my face right now. He's developing into a warrior and leader too.

Didn't think he was so aggressive. Mind watching him at Carlisle and thought he was a complete poser. Glad to have him!

Played well again and we held the ball so much better when Lewis came on and we had two players on that side who have great composure

Today was the best performance I can remember from him since he signed last season. Classy but with a nasty side and was influential getting us up the park today. Fantastic to see

    When Newell performs Hibs perform.

Didn't look up to much against United Motherwell and Aberdeen and our midfield was overrun as a result.

Had folk round so wasn’t able to fully focus on the game, but other than 15 mins odd at the start of the second half thought the midfield competed well. More games like that from Newell, & the whole midfield, and Newell will begin to change my mind about him being part of the mid-long term midfield answer.

He had a good game, far better in a more forward position now that we have Gogic to hold in front of the defence.

Been critical of him recently, thought he was good today and worked really hard off the ball. Asa team I thought we did that really well for the majority of the game. I was really encouraged by that performance.

Him and Gogic are really starting to click. His delivery from set pieces seems to have dipped a bit though.

Class act, that’s never changed. He’s just being allowed to loosen the shackles now. Be lucky if you find a player anywhere that looks after the ball the way he does.

Yup, normally very capable from the dead ball however he did sweep in that glorious ball for our stonewall penalty chance thing.
