No transfer chat at all in today's press conference other than loans out of the club

From what JR said at press conference I’d expect Ben Stirling to go on loan too.

The bottom line is that if a better player comes in within our budget we will get him. But whoever we sign must fit in.
That is what happened with Fraser Fyvie and Stokes,we were not looking to fill those positions but they became available.

A few tweets saying we are in for Kyle Magennis of StMirren. Can’t say I know lots about him but St Mirren fans don’t want to lose him!

Unless of course he doesn't like any of them! Could work both ways I guess.

Didn’t realise they parted company with Gus Macpherson last month, no idea if it was a clash of personalities with Goodwin, or a cost cutting measure

Three bids now according to media. Sounds like we are certainly trying our best to get him.

Can we no just merge this with the main transfer thread and keep that one on track?

All ballast being chucked over board.

Don’t know much about him tbh but JR has shown he is a good judge of character and knows the player well so I’m sure he will be a great acquisition if we get him. Even with Aberdeen’s apparent interest and St Mirren not wanting to sell I think he will end up here.
