Risky Business. The scene on the train with Tom Cruise & Rebecca De Mornay ****ging to Phil Collins made quite an impression 🤣

Probably a combination of Stand By Me, Weird Science, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and the Back to the Future films.

Even though some were released earlier, there are a few films I remember seeing around the same time.
The Exorcist, The Omen (x3?), Blues Brothers & Animal House.

There's a good one on Amazon Prime at the moment - Blinded by the Light. A must for Springsteen fans

Ferris Bueller and Some Kind of Wonderful.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I immediately thought Quadrophenia but that would have been when I was 21....memory isn't what it was!
So I'd say American Graffiti although I didn't see it until a year or 2 after it was released.Last edited by Hiber-nation; 23-09-2020 at 06:50 PM.

Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman. Even though I was quite a tomboy, it didn’t seem to reflect in my film preferences.
