Is Ben Stirling not more of a squad filler than a genuine option as cover. 22 and I think he’s still to make his competitive debut (going by Wikipedia but may have played early league cup games).

Daz, Lewis, Boyle(RWB) and McGinn could all play there. I wouldn't be letting SDG go though as I can still see a place for him in the squad if not the starting 11 in a 442

Think you summed it up we will not have a match fit David Gray again so he won't be in the team. He has played very little football for sometime and simply wont be fit for long enough to hold down a place in a Hibs team.

Club legend but all playing careers come to an end.
