I dont understand this phrase. How can they bottle it against teams that are much better than them?

Surely you bottle it when you choke in a big match against a team you are better than?

Aberdeen usually beat the teams they are better than, snd loase against the teams they are worse than.

The very rarely give the old firm a good game. Play super, defensive and try not to lose.

They're masters at scoring first then snuffing out the rest of the match and probably why they'll finish 3rd again.

Just had a look at their league results so far and I hadn't realised all the scores were so low.
