    Best Music Intro

What’s your favourite intro to a tune?

I heard the O’Jays Backstabber on the radio this morning and although it’s not one of my favourite songs the intro, for me anyway, is superb.

Do you have a favourite, I’m interested to see what you come up with.

I've got loads too. My favourites tend to have nothing to do with the tune that follows.

Steve Hartley - Come Up and See Me

    https://youtu.be/coSFq73_epA

Average White Band - Pick up the Pieces

    https://youtu.be/3ISLeHByD-I

    Madness - My Girl

    https://youtu.be/Pw-8AGRcyvk

And the most complicated intro chord ever

Not exactly an intro, but the start of the instrumental in the final 3rd of Fleetwood Macs "The Chain",,,, everyone knows that baseline!

I'm saying is not an intro, but technically it is because the Chain is actually a few songs spliced together with all members getting equal credit.

There are countless but Supersonic by Oasis is a spine tingler for me, the heavy drums with the guitar over the top is class.

Another vote for Baba O'riley, the first one that came to mind.

I heard it through the Grapevine is another good one.
