A long way to go but he looks very promising indeed. He seems to be a real instinctive forward. Bring on the days when we can get in the ground to see him!

The boys class. Showed glimpses last week with his movement but it paid off today after an outstanding performance from Horgan.
He has more goals in 90 minutes than Boyce got in 90 days for any of the bitter straw clutching JKB fuds who might be reading this thread.

We have a player on ours hands. Him and Doidge are going to score 20+ each this season.

I think Doidge will get 12-15 but will provide plenty assists, KevNiz will get 15-18.

Sportscene asking how far away he is from a Scotland call up already.

I now understand why the Pars fans were unhappy about losing their best player.

You could see his movement against Kilmarnock but he wasn’t being found. He pulls defenders around, drops deep at times dragging defenders with him. Watches the line well and times his run, has a knack of getting 1-2m on his opponent which has them looking for him and taking their eye off the play.
He is looking good but still has to prove it against the better defenders.
And that is how to take a penalty !!We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.

I remember the Jim Duffy season, top of the league in the final game of the first round of fixtures and beating Old Rangers 3-1 at HT. I was starting to think 'hell, maybe we could win the league'!!! We lost that game 4-3 and went on to get relegated that season.....not getting carried away after 2 games
I am getting just a bit excited by this team though.....defense starting to gel, midfield has a bit of bite and upfront we know where the goal is....even more so, well, we actually look like a team! Michael Stewart called it spot on on Sportscene when he said we probably need someone to play alongside Gogic to properly cement the midfield, then we have a real team. Very early doors but promising signs.

What I really like is that I feared that he and Doidge would be too similar but yesterday showed real promise. Both are tall, strong and can find half a yard of space out of nowhere and be in the right place at the right time but if they can work together up front without getting in each others way then it could be a very exciting partnership indeed.
