No updates from the Hearts game?

    Are they playing tomorrow?

The pitch is sticky for running with the ball unfortunately.

Swap Boyle now for Gullan. (Boyle will prob score now).

The pitch is a joke though. It is clearly not good enough for elite level football.

    Horgan looks really quick.

  8. #367
BBC described it as the ball was unable to keep up with Boyle. Sounds like he cant adjust to the different run of the pitch when hes going at pace. I'd take him off and bring on gullan or even hallberg to shore up the middle a bit more

  9. #368
What a touch by Nisbet. He didn't look to pleased with Horgan not making the run beyond him, gave him a proper mouthful.

i'm still amazed they allow those black rubber pellets. Sure i read a while back they were banned in holland and other places because they were cancerogenic? Lots of goalies fell ill ?

    Hallberg on for Horgan

Not Halberg. Ffs. Play the game higher up the park.

So close on the break again. Superb pass from Doidge and good touch from Nisbet, shot is blocked and Horgan's cross is cleared.

Hallberg on for Horgan who's taken a knock. Absolutely superb today.

Really proved to see Horgan proving his doubters - of which I have been one of them - wrong in terms of what he can do on a football pitch. If we get that in more games, I'll be absolutely delighted.

Deserves an ice cold beer tonight.

Another chance, Boyle can't quite get it out of his feet, finds the ever-running McGinn who's shot is held.

Newell is going out left. Makes little difference to how we are setting up.

Tynecastle is also a joke - far too small and often doesn’t look like a normal game of football when watching it there.

TBF Tynecastle isn't being used for top level football, so you can allow the smaller lower league teams a bit of allowance for sub-standard facilities.

This has been a very good performance at a difficult ground.

Marciano has been solid coming and claiming these throws today but he's got away with one there.
