    Famous five statue.

    I remember a while back there was talk about this happening and then it just fizzled out.

    Could we make this happen?

    I personally don't think building a statue when so many cuts have been made is a good idea.

    Think anything like this should be shelved for the future.

    Much though I'd like to see a statue of the FF, I don't imagine it would even be considered at present when wages have been cut and staff made redundant.

    Given the current financial situation of both the club, and probably many fans as well, I’d think a FF statue is not a top priority at the moment.

    However, and this is only a tentative suggestion, could 1 or 2 of the monthly HSL donations to the club maybe be diverted to pay for a FF statue? Just a thought, although overall cost might determine if that’s viable or not.

    There was a guy in Selkirk who made a smaller version of a Famous five statue that he wanted to make a life sized version of but didn't have the funding to do it. Don't know what ever happened with his project?

    At the same time that Hibernian Retro was selling dodgy merchandise with the official Hibs crest on it and was also holding hands with those who were saying HSL was a ponzi scheme.

    I think that Hibernian Retro has since changed hands and the new owner seems pretty "straight".
