352 I reckon, even from the way Hibs have laid it out

4-2-3-1 I think. Back 4, Gogic and Newell, Allan Boyle and Wright behind Nisbet

Could be 3-5-2 which I think is more likely. Doig and Wright operating as wingbacks.
Of course could be a flat 4 with Doig at LB and Newell at LM.

Hope so. 352 leaves at least 3 players out of their natural position.

Gives us the most flexibility as well, 4 out and out attacking players, but two wingers who can easily turn and go back the way to help out off the ball. Exactly what Ross was talking about when saying we are now more balanced as a team which will help our defensive game.

Yeah, Ross said he was still have slight issues with his knee which is why he missed a lot of pre season. Mackie and Jackson also injured. James and Kamberi on the way out.

I think it’s 3-5-2 just from the way Hibs have listed the players on the tweet. They are not in numerical order so why put Doig away from the rest of the defenders?

    Absolutley delighted for Doig!

    Based on the order of how Hibs have named the players in going to go for;

    ..........................Marciano...........

    ..........McGinn.....Porteous......Hanlon.......

    Wright...........Gogic.......Newell.......Doig.... ..

    ...........................Allan.........

    ..................Boyle...........Nisbet........

Right enough. Leaves mcginn, Wright and Boyle out of position. Not sure I'm fan. Boyle will either score twice or be absolutely anonymous up front.

You're right. Wright and Doig WBs, Boyle up front.

Delighted for Josh Doig, should give us a lot better balance going forward

  23. #22
Great to see someone new at left back. Long before time.

EEN reckons it’s a 352 with Boyle upfront as well

  26. #25
Gogic and Newell in the middle aswell. Should be a solid pair

  27. #26
Yep looks like they are going 352 to start. Easy to move around too. I like it.

  28. #27
I hope we give Doig time. Expect a few mistakes and let him learn.

Like the line up, don’t like it as a 3-5-2. They players should be playing in a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 imo.

Would rather a young boy come in and learn than watching Stevenson struggle defensively and offer nothing going forward. Doig looks like he can put quality into the box
