I’ve a Brentford Rangers double. If they fail to hold on to this lead I’ll do similar. I thought it would be a weakened Turk team.
Aye, I don't know anything about them, but 7/2 is worth a wee go.

I'm putting a cheeky twenty on the Turks.
Yeah. A wee bit of Turkish delight for pudding tonight would be nice.

Dundalk 1-0 up and on course to qualify for the Europa League group stages, again, having done it in 2016.

It’s not the impossible dream that it’s often made out to be to get that far. There are far smaller clubs, than the likes of us, all over the continent who manage it quite regularly. It really has to be something we strive for.

It helps that they play in the summer and are up to speed for the earlier rounds. I don’t really want summer football but it is one thing that it helps with.

It's not the worst league in the world, the LOI. There's a few teams who could give us a good game - Dundalk, Cork, Derry, Sligo, Rovers...perhaps Bohs. But I'm still dumbstruck that Dundalk manage to do this in Europe.

Their season wasn’t played this summer which makes it even more of an achievement.

I certainly isn't...Its certainly underfunded & underappreciated but there's some quality players in the league..Maybe cause were poor at GAA theres less competition for attention but the love for Sligo Rovers from the locals is pretty cool. The backing they have received from the fans to stay afloat and play out the season has been heartwarming. I still think were a step above but there isn't as much in it as some may think. If Dundalk get through here its some cash advantage they are going to have v most of the league.

They got well beaten in the Champions league qualifier then played teams from Andorra and Moldova. Sometimes the draw you get helps.

They are also consistently qualifying and playing in Europe so they have a yearly chance to get through a few games if the draw is right.

Ice hockey. Just ends up as water polo otherwise.

Buy some decent winter clothing. The summer is largely for other stuff. November to February say, it would be dire without football.

Shows how good Rangers actually are with tonight’s result and last seasons European results. As much as I hate them I think a lot of people let their hatred of them cloud their judgement when it comes to the Huns.

The fact that the 2 clubs with the largest support, who spend millions of pounds on players are both probably going to qualify, while the 2 clubs that make up the numbers at 3rd and 4th in the league get bundled out early on.

ya ya ya.... Really enjoyed going to Bohs games, most of the Hibs guys I watched games with in Dublin were St Pats fans...Maybe it was the bar under the stand that swayed me or the great array of pubs on the wander back to the centre of town...
