This really is a brilliant signing and the exact type I believe we as a club should be making, young Scottish guy with lots of potential.

Hes got everything for a striker, he’s big, fast, strong, can score all type of goals and has that confidence in him.

Well some Hibs on getting him to the club, hopefully we continue with these type of signings.

Very excited about this signing. The lad might need a few games to get used to us but he will luckily ge that extra time with the closed door games.

Also it's great to see the seethe over on JKB. Another top notch scoop by Dazajambo too. What a walloper he is, hes on this morning saying Hearts walked away cos he demanded an Celtic release clause and we accepted it. Ha ha ha

Celtic can come take anyone they want at any time, no player in our league will need a special release clause. Decent comfort blanket for those muppets though I suppose.

Probably wanted to play on a full size pitch.

Should be a good signing. How come he’s signing straight away given the comment in the Wright announcement about the wage deferrals?

Excellent signing, was worried we’d missed our chance after not getting him January, but has worked out well

A four year deal is outstanding. Shows something special by Hibernian, Will really help the team and younger players around him even though he's only 23, welcome Kevin!!

    Welcome Kevin.
As exciting a signing since LG first came to the club. Hope he turns out to be as prolific.

Some really nice goals and pieces of skill in there. Looks a bit like a more accomplished version of Cummings; has the ability and knack to get himself a half yard of space on a frequent basis and a nice finisher. Decent pace too.

Brilliant. Was hoping this one would come off, a few Pars fans I know see him as a player with great potential.

Liking this Hibs, keep em comin!
Ive just been talking to a Pars ex teammate of his.

Nizzy has had a personal trainer throughout the lockdown. He’s in ridiculously good physical condition.
His teammate thinks he’s better than Shankland, particularly putting workmate and not just scoring goals. Does everything well, quick, good in the air.
He won’t stay long at Hibs, will ‘do a McGinn’, leave for a substantial fee which Dunfermline will take a slice of.

It just sounds fantastic if true.

Nice composure. Doesn't panic but doesn't dither either. I wonder if the plan is to play him with Doidge or if they're in competition?

Apart from the "won't stay long". Let's hope he really does "do a McGinn" and there's no looking for a move for at least 2, if not 3, years of his deal.

    Kevin Nisbet.
Hearts made a stunning last minute swoop to beat Edinburgh rivals Hibs to the signing of Dunfermline striker Kevin Nisbet, Courier Sport can reveal.
The Pars had accepted a bid in the region of £250,000 for the former Raith Rovers man and the player had agreed personal terms.
Nisbet was undergoing his medical with the Easter Road side last night when news came through to him that Hearts had also made an offer that met the Pars’ valuation of the 23-year-old.
On top of that, they were trying to change Nisbet’s mind with the carrot of substantially bigger wages.
Robbie Neilson rates him highly, and twice tried to bring Dunfermline’s star man to Dundee United – in January and again this summer before he left for Tynecastle.
Even with deeper pockets, though, it was too late.
Nisbet’s mind was already made up – he wants to play in the Premiership and has bought into the vision outlined by Jack Ross and John Potter – and there will be no sensational U-turn.
With Nisbet passing his medical, the transfer should be announced by Hibs today.
Former St Johnstone winger Drey Wright will also sign, with a deal for Alex Gogic close as well.

    😂😂😂

Played correctly they could compliment each other; Doidge has more height and aerial threat, Nisbet has more pace and movement but both seem to be able to find space and be in the right place at the right time. It could be one of those situations where they get in each others way or we could end up being really ruthless with two players who will feed off of any scraps left on the plate.

I see Doidge as more of a Colin Nish type striker - not an out and out target man but will always have an advantage with his height and ability to score scrappy goals. In fact it could even be more of a Grant Holt & Jason Cummings type partnership.

They are the same height, which I only found out yesterday, as I thought he was a fair bit smaller as well

Wow, Nizzy's got some pace on him for a tall boy then.

There's a song for him here to "Rebel Rebel" - "Nizzy Nizzy" or something like that. "Nizzy Nizzy, plays in green and white, Nizzy Nizzy, thinks the Jambos are *****, Nizzy Nizzy, get us a goal, Nisbet, we love you so"
