    Football Programme Shop, Albion Road

Was featured on BBCs Football Focus yesterday morning. Lots of good Hibs memorabilia on display. I always knew it as Ricky Regina's but the current owner, Brian, has had it for twenty years. Nice little piece.

Just watched it and very interesting.

I have visited prematch in the past as I have a few hundred programmes some going back to the 50’s.

Assumed from the description that it was the piece done on the much maligned View from the terrace before lockdown. Been repeated a couple of times on the Scotland channel.

I think it has always been Brian’s shop in terms of football memorabilia.

Ricky had a shop near the foot of Leith Walk many years ago as well as a hut at the back of the East Terrace then a stall in the concourse of the Famous Five Lower.

Good wee piece on the BBC though. 👍

The features produced for A View from the Terrace are absolutely excellent, with Scottish football covered in a really interesting way. This one on the programme shop is really good.

Thank you for that. A treat.

My mother threw out all my old Hibs programmes.

    But I'm not bitter.

Decided to have a wee look in here before the game today, didn't want to handle to many programs so just grabbed a few random ones from the early 70's.

Got the Real Madrid game for £20, I'm trying to resist taking it out of the plastic wrapping.

I thought they'd stopped printing programmes.
