    Multi-year season tickets

Seem to recall this perhaps having been mooted, or even implemented for a short time, a few years back.

If Hibs offered the option for a 2 / 4 / 5 / 10 year season ticket, perhaps pegged at this year's prices or slightly higher, would you be interested?

    I had a multi-year ticket, 3 years I think?

It was good getting 'free football' for quite a while after the initial pain of forking out!

In the past I would have said yes but in the current climate no chance!

I’d probably sign up for a multi year season ticket so long as it was paid over monthly instalments. Maybe doesn’t get the cash in the door straight away for the club but allows them to bank future income.

I’d much rather see some sort of subscription model where if you paid the ST over 12 months, your ST automatically renews unless you’ve chosen to cancel - similar to amazon prime / Netflix / sky sports etc. Think ST holder retention rates would be higher if the decision was to cancel instead of making the decision to renew

Definitely the way to go, imho. Would love a scheme like that.

I think the club would be signing even fewer players if it wasn’t getting a large number of upfront payments for seasons around transfer window time.

I don't think it's a great idea. Overspending to start off with, even by a fairly small amount, leaves you with a hole to fill further down the line. Even worse if things don't work out so you tap a wee bit more into the reserves during the next couple of transfer windows.

    Not for me.

I like the rolling membership idea better.

Would happily just have a regular monthly payment and not have to think about renewing my season ticket.

I’ve got a 10 year one at Newcastle at a fixed price (comes to an end next season I think).

It’s paid monthly by direct debit, and you do have an option to walk away each year (notification needed in February I think).

It’s worked out well, despite a couple of seasons in the Championship.
But you know it ain't all about wealth,
as long as you make a note to .. EXPRESS YOURSELF!

My mate and his dad have been buying 5yr season tickets for Newcastle for as long as I can remember. Easy 20-25 years. Unsure if it applies to the entire ground, theirs being in the superb Platinum Club. Hibernian should defs look into it imo

That's fine and is exactly the sort of thing that suits me.

Membership idea is much better and I would do that even though I wouldn't attend every home game.

    Agreed - I think that's a good idea.

The membership idea comes up quite often but never seems to get any traction, I'm not sure why.
    Mon the Hibs.
