I am sure this has been covered but can’t find the answer?
Why is the hibs shirt sponsor in a different font?
Hopefully someone can tell me
Thanks

The original question is a valid one. The font is different from that used by the NHS, maybe some people don't care, but that doesn't mean people should be afraid to ask perfectly sensible questions.
I don't like it and it feels a bit like bullying at times.
That all said, I don't direct that at any one individual.Last edited by beensaidbefore; 23-06-2020 at 12:36 PM. Reason: Typo

Why do you care that he cares that they care that the OP cares?

I’ve been on here for almost 20 years and have thousands of posts and I haven’t got a clue what the OP asked that was ‘wrong’ or what the whole ‘different font’ business is (not that I care either tbf).
Incidentally, the OP has 100 odd posts, not 40.Last edited by Beefster; 23-06-2020 at 05:42 PM.

I'm not even sure if that makes a difference.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

The font isn't the issue.
NHS Scotland have a stylised thistle leaf thing which, together with the letters, makes up a logo. NHS England uses similar lettering but in white italics against a blue background. This is their logo.
Hibs aren't sponsored by either. Nor do we sponsor them.
Our shirt sponsorship is a community minded initiative, paid for by a benefactor, as a means to thank the NHS.
There's more to it than that (fund raising, guests, etc.), but it's really an unofficial thing that hopefully will do some good.

This has been discussed. There was chat about NHS Scotland v NHS UK. Its simple, its not a sponsorship, its purely a message from Hibs thanking the NHS.

The design was agreed with NHS Lothian as far as I can remember. And it reflects the support of the the NHS across all 4 nations.

Just putting out there...
Why haven't we gone for the NHS badge on the shirt like the English Premier teams and tried to find a normal shirt sponsor?

You'd need to ask Hibs that one.
I think Leeann Dempster's e-mail address was posted on here recently.

Has Mr Lobo even viewed this thread again, or was it just a 'drop a controversial comment and run' type post?
I think it was done to death at the time Hibs announced it, with some people getting worked up about trivial stuff.
