Ok, the English Premiership is about to restart and seeing as we had a thread about who to support in the Bundesliga, it's only fair we do the same for England. I'll get the ball rolling, c'mon the Villa!!!!
Do most of us not already have an English team? I certainly do.

Based on our German selection, Aston Villa will want to avoid us picking them

An away top I hope… Villa's home top is an appalling colour.
Sadly not, it is the home top. But it's claret, claret I tell you!! It's not blood covered turd colour

I used to dislike them, probably because they were winning everything but I've seen them in a different light since reading Roy Keane and Alex Ferguson's books. Loved the expectations and standards demanded of the players, had to be on it from the word go in training. Turning up on time wasn't good enough you had to be early etc. There were plenty that couldn't handle it but the ones that did became legends. Not sure that's so much the case these days sadly for them. Don't really follow English football but I'd pick them.

You're all more than welcome to come and support Cheltenham Town, quite a few Hibbys travel to the away games in the north of England ( and a couple of jambos, who are actually alright )

Support Cheltenham all through the play offs please. Got a lot of friends there and a few of them are involved at the club. Great set up. Great people.

Two clubs for me are Hibs and Oxford. They’re like your own kids, no favourite but the love is unconditional.
Oxford have made the league 1 playoffs so give them a cheer if you can.

My cousin's 12 year old son is at Oxford and has just been re-signed for another 2 years.
