I’d have preferred to keep him and let Marciano move on, for longevity I feel you could get a good 3/4 years out of Bogdan but feel Ofir has his sighs sent on moving on in the near future. Very rare you players so bought into a club of his quality and actually wanted to be here, unfortunate for him and wish him all the best.

Should definitely have extended his contract. He was more than capable before his injury.Hopefully Hibs have given him some indication that when football restarts they will reconsider him, He wants to be here and we need reliable players with that attitude. Who would be the back up keeper if Marciano suddenly left or got injured/suspended? We need experience if we want to achieve anything.

It reads like they weren't able to extend due to the furlough, deferrals and lack of financial security caused by the pandemic. Hopefully things can be negotiated at a later date, as he's quality.
