Just tried to buy the new home shirt in XXL. Turns out it’s sold out.
How is this possible, it’s on pre order?!?

Spoke with Hibs Direct on this recently - Initial pre-order quota of XL upwards are selling out fast (both strips) but they’ll be added to shortly.

Just had an email back from the shop. It is true, the XXL is out of stock. (That’s borderline Large XL in real sizing, for info, I’m a Large in the Adidas Scotland shirt).
They had an initial batch on preorder from Macron which is joe gone in XXL.
They will be getting another batch in but don’t have an idea of any dates yet.

We will need a swop system in place as no one will be the size they were when they preordered lol

I’m not surprised they are. I’m a Large in Adidas tops and sometimes an XL in other brands/items and I find the XL of Macrons stuff bordering on too tight still and that was pre lockdown. I think if i wanted to wear a top to a game casually I’d opt for XXL.
Wouldn’t mind Macron fix their sizing to be a bit more standardised. It must be frustrating for someone to spend 40 odd quid on a top that they think will fit only for it to be a bit tighter than they thought.

PS Do soft cookies go softer when old, or hard?

Wonder when Hibs will put a second order in with Macron?
Currently smallest size is XL (likely Medium in normal money).
With 3XL and up available.

Any idea if the new shirt has Eden Mill on the back?
Also, any news on restocks?
