267 must be a friendly because he definitely scored his first goal in a Scottish Cup tie against the huns.
    On the right track

I remember somebody saying at the time of his testimonial that his first goal had been in a friendly against Leicester and he’d hardly scored any since.
    267. So I guess Leicester although I’ve no idea if it was true

Scored the first goal Leicester City away 15/1/1980 in a 0-2 win Tony Higgins got the second George Best played that night

We also won the first leg of this Friendly Challenge Match arranged between ET and his new best pal Jock Wallace at Easter Road 3-2 thanks to an Ally MacLeod hat-trick a few weeks earlier

Jackie’s first competitive goal would come against the Hun in the Scottish Cup a few months later

    Well done!

Eddie May? It was widely reported that it was Willie Irvine but I haven't checked.

Funnily enough when Eddie May scored that diving header against Celtic in the Scottish Cup Quarter Final at Easter Road to win the game 4-3 after coming on as a sub this random old guy jumped on me in the East and declared

“ Eddie May a star is born!”
