Players are doing it cause the normal scout is still on furlough
Wasn’t our chief scout Mike Meechan...didn’t someone (Billywhizz?) say he had met him and he had been let go and was now working for an American team ?

Not a rumour, but Odoffin at Hamilton has been a really interesting one. Was a full back at Livi, punted to Hamilton and has been really impressive at CB for them. Scored his 3rd of the season today. Only contracted til the end of the season. Could be worth a pre contract come Jan

Think the match-fixing charges means we can put an end to the Marc McNulty hunches.

Charlie Mulgrew signing for Fleetwood. I'd take him here.

If he’s not signing for us “I don’t want to know” where he’s going, other targets out their after this “second hand news”.

I’m pretty sure it’s just Rumours. He was approached by Aberdeen but said he was Never Going Back Again.

Someone will post that puns are Not That Funny, but I say Don't Stop.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Albatross, Albatross! (For those that don't understand it's a Monty Python sketch).

What about those of us who don’t understand Monty Python?

I don’t think Gogic and Newell were lacking in either of those things today.

Be interesting to see who we bring in. Ross was quoted as saying he wants an all rounder type midfielder.

    I’m expecting a McCrorie type.

I just think we need more in there.

Never seen the game but going by some people’s summary of today we didn’t put our foot in enough in the middle

It’s a pity we didn’t get his signing over the line. Certainly sounds like the player we needed

I wasn’t fussed about him given I’d never seen him play, but having watched him at Aberdeen I’m disappointed now we missed out.

Ross County signing Michael O’Connor. Played for Hibs in a reserve game v Dunfermline last season
O'Connor is a very good player but a total nut job. Very hard to manage. Dingwall might be quiet enough to keep him out of trouble.

Newell's had a good couple of games against Rangers and Celtic, as has Gogic. I still think they need that extra player in there with them. Wright did fine last week but I don't think he's the answer in the middle, especially against stronger teams like Rangers, Celtic or Aberdeen.

Newell is a good player, he's now had a couple of good games against Rangers and Celtic. Next challenge for him is to string 10-12 performances in a row together without any of the anonymous ones he comes away with from time to time.

Any criticism of the midfield today really shouldn't in any way be a criticism of Newell or Gogic though.

Hopefully with Murray away on Friday and Stirling likely to leave soon it means we will have a new face in at the start of the week.

  31. #11850
Ross still hopeful of bringing in a couple of players. A couple of areas of the team he'd like to address.
