Good wee piece in the EEN about him.

Interesting to see that Hibs/Rod Petrie put him on gardening leave for 18 months, even though he could no longer play.

Good report and just shows how lucky you have to be in football as well as talented. He looked a top prospect as well but obviously the injuries hampered his progress and then stopped him playing

A real classy gesture from RP and I’m glad the club is run in a way where we can afford to look after the guys, especially when a young guy has their career ended like this.

Reading that just makes you even more convinced he would have become a great player. I remember him well - mostly, speculating on when he might be back because he looked so good.
I bet he’s a great career coach and those young people in Ayrshire are lucky to have him.

He looked great in that Celtic game. Thought we were into a real winner (we possibly were).
Great from Petrie and the club. Did hearts not punt Cummings as he got injured and they wouldn’t pay for treatment?

A sad story but good to see the club supported him when he most needed it.
