Including and since the 1966 World Cup Final, there has been only two World Cup Finals that haven't featured a Bayern Munich player.
1970 and 1978.

My mate hit me with a variation of that one the other day and it had me stumped.
He also set me another - “Which football shirt sponsor is the most successful in terms of honours won by the teams it sponsors(ed)?”

That's why I am thinking Santos/Brazilian clubs are they've been to so many and a lot were before the trend of South Americans coming to europe.
Other than that, AC or Inter, maybe Juventus?

It's going to be someone ridiculous isn't it
Although I am leaning towards Juventus as one of the two, they always have a strong showing in Italy squads as well as other nationalitiesLast edited by Haymaker; 10-05-2020 at 02:08 AM.

Failing that it would be whoever sponsored Real Madrid in the glory years around the turn of the century, but can’t remember for sure. There's only one thing better than a Hibs calendar and that's two Hibs calendars

Im sure Botafogo were easily the most represented side of the great Brazilian 1970 side, perhaps the best ever.
I've always though of Santos of being a football factory type club, churning out amazing kid after amazing kid.
These two clubs punch well above their weight in comparison to much bigger sidesLast edited by Renfrew_Hibby; 10-05-2020 at 06:55 AM.

The correct answer is actually the first attempt made - Opel.
“Car manufacturers Opel have adorned the shirts of 45 trophy-winning teams:
* Bayern Munich (16) Six Bundesligas, two German Cups, four League Cups, DFB Super Cup, Champions League, Uefa Cup, Intercontinental Cup.
* Milan (nine) Three Serie A titles, one Coppa Italia, two Supercoppas, one Champions League, two Uefa Super Cups.
* PSG (six) Two French Cups, two League Cups, Trophée des Champions, European Cup Winners’ Cup
* Sparta Prague (five) Four Czech league titles, one Czech Cup
* Bordeaux (four) Ligue 1 title, two French cups, Trophée des Champions
* Hapoel Haifa (two) Israeli league title, Toto Cup
* Feyenoord (two) Eredivisie title, Dutch Cup
* Standard Liège (one) Belgian Cup”

Latterly they've produced loads of top players but most moved to richer clubs while relatively young.
