All I can say is that people on this board and Scottish football in general have very very short memories. It’s only a few years since Hearts were last relegated and the top flight of the domestic game was almost destroyed by the lack of the maroon pound back then. Now here we are in the covid era, where everything is so much more precarious, signing our own death warrant.

I just had a look at the Premiership for season 20/21. I didn't notice that anything had gone and it looks to be in robust health for a competitive season with no obvious weak links.

She's got the baying fans pushing her to do and say things she doesn't really believe in and are doomed to failure. Budge also knows that she needs to be seen to be doing something because otherwise the focus will switch to her disastrous management of the footballing department and how they found themselves being the worst team in the league, in spite of the millions spent.

There is not going to be an easy way out for her and when the penny drops with the Gorgie hordes, one way or another she will be hounded out of Tynecastle very soon.

It's been acknowledged that the current situation is the "least unfair" way to resolve it. The vote and decisions have been vindicated in that returning to football is still not guaranteed until 1st August at the earlier. Resuming would have taken us into October easy.

She's been asked to come up with an alternative. Not unreasonable considering the vast majority and the SPFL board thought that they had taken the best or only available option. The ones she's put forward have been dismissed, not out of malice, out of choice for their own circumstances.

And now this has been added. There's a good reason Doncaster mentioned "another Chairman" in his response (witness most likely), and the reference to 'now' no strings intimates there was before.

It's to be seen which blind alley she wants to go down now. Any positives/investment will be without conditions she's said that on national radio.
