If this lockdown has confirmed anything for me its that I am far more of a Hibs fan than a fan of football in general. Hibs are in the blood and there's definitely a sense of something missing when they're not around to fret over! Mind you, maybe that's a good thing in some ways??
Football as a whole though? I've been drifting away from it for some time and was rarely, if ever, watching games not involving Hibs long before coronavirus shut the game down.
I guess that's partly why I find the saga over ending the season so pathetic. It just doesn't seem that big a deal when set against the wider issues of the world.

No. If it's not Hibs related I'm generally not interested in football. I couldn't sit and watch a game not involving Hibs. Missing Hibs badly though, from the pre game interviews on a Thursday right through to the Sunday. It's a big part of my life.

I am missing Hibs so much that I have ordered Subutteo to play with my 12 year old and trying to buy a vintage Hibs set having just been outbid for one on Ebay.

Not for me. If anything it's reaffirmed how important football is as part of my life.

I'm personally missing Hibs games a lot but football in general not so much. I was joint top of my Fantasy Football league so I suppose from that point of view I would like that to be back soon so I can have a chance of winning.
I'm not bothered at all by the absence of Brighton v Watford etc though.

I´m missing the fitba, but I´m missing getting together with mates before the game probably more.
Maybe we could start a pool on which teams will go bust first everyone picks five teams?

I'm missing the social side of things more than the actual games themselves, all my friends live out of town these days and when we are at home it's how we all get together, if it wasn't for that we would have to make a real concious effort to arrange something

I'm really missing it. Hibs are a massive part of my life, like most on here, and I can't wait to watch us again.

Supporters of many clubs will be lost to the game, they'll just have gotten out of the habit of going.

When the football eventually comes back, and we’re allowed to go back, it’ll be superb.
I’m missing it big time. Not just the football itself but the social side of it. Going for a beer and putting a coupon on, on a Saturday, is a big part of folks lives.

I wouldn’t say I’m missing it too much... but there’s no hiding the fact that I’ve been watching more and more football on YouTube... in particular Hibs games from the early 90s from sportscene.
