    Dougie Morgan RIP

A scottish rugby legend and a guy I had the pleasure of knowing has sadly passed away.

Very sad news. Great, highly decorated player. Stew Mel winning the Middlesex 7’s was a ridiculous achievement.
He was friends with Dad back in the 70’s & 80’s. He’s gutted he won’t get to the funeral. He pulled the first pint when my Dad opened his pub in the late 70’s. Dougie was my chiropodist for a while and fellow Scotland rugby legend Pringle Fisher was my dentist. It was my claim to fame at primary school. Both now sadly passed.

Just seen this thread. That's sad news. Our neighbours in the 70s were regulars at Inverleith and took me along sometimes. I've still got Dougie's autograph!
