Also the semi final at ibrox when we lost 1-0 in front of a full stand of 7000 Hibbys. Fortunately we’d won 2-0 in the first leg.
That was a great night, full Hibs end at hunbrox....going through after winning the first leg by 2. First time at Ibrox with my Dad who was well chuffed we had went through as we all were.

    Great memories.

Aye, Liege & Brussels were tremendous - large (and largely pished) Hibs supports giving great backing, ....

Maybe the club should start giving out free crates of beer at home games.

We lost to an Arthur Duncan own goal.
I remember it well dave. Always thought it was unfair to blame Arthur, he couldnt do much about it.
Alcohol IS the answer, but I forget the question...

Snap, bumped into Frank the next day at the barbers, his eye was all swollen, and stitching

We shook hands, and he said "sorry"

    Hibs class..

In the Aberdeen semi final am I right in thinking that Rocky almost scored from a header after going up for a corner in the last minute?

We were so unlucky that day. Awesome for 80 minutes. As someone else said, if McGeouch hadn’t got injured after his goal we would’ve got another.
Yes he did, though I suspect if watched back it probably wasn't as good a header as it felt at the time!

    Agree about Dylan too.

    Injured after scoring ffs!

Theres been a couple of times something similar has happened. I didnt get the applause and singing sunshine on leith after rangers beat us in the play offs in 2015. That was the worst rangers team i have ever seen in my life and we pumped them 3-1,4-0 and 2-0 earlier that season with QOTS also drubbing them twice, alloa beating them ect. We were the better team and should have beaten them. The fact motherwell turned them over after us proved it. It Really really annoyed me that day.
Frustrating is an understatement though more of me was left raging from the first leg at ibrox. We’d been there 3 times already that season, performing valiantly even in the challenge cup game pre season where we eventually lost in extra time. That day however we just didn’t seem to click and they inevitably punished us. The struggle started there. I guess McCall that season simply had us sussed a bit better than prior co, his first game if I remember was the 2-0 defeat at ER? Another day of leaving early spewing.

A 1-0 defeat to Killie at home in the very early days on Tony Mowbray’s management
A very Young team played with great pace and excitement
Defeat was very harsh and the crowd knew we were in for an exciting season

Yep....me too. My 8yo daughter was bawling her eyes out at the end. I asked her why she was crying..

"I dont know" she snuffled! 😅
The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits

The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they do not know the game

2014/15 league cup QF? Lost on penalties to a very strong Dundee United. Promising signs to come for when we were still very much wobbly in our early championship days

The first game of the season and the only Hibs game that 3 generations of our family attended together.

2013 Scottish cup final, truth be told we all knew we were losing that day and could have been on the end of another embarrassing hiding. Always remember at 3-0 down all the fans getting behind the team and out singing the Celtic fans.

Should have read the thread 🙈🙈🙈🙈

It was only 2-0 at half time but apart from that I agree

Let’s be honest at 0-3 down versus Falkirk (who were going through us like a hot knife through butter) how many of us thought at half time we would be in the 2013 Final?

I also remember Lyle Taylor missing a glorious chance to make it 0-4 just before half time

This one for me as well. Probably the birth of SoL as we know it now. Goosebumps moment, I remember the hairs on my arms standing up, it was spine tingling. We’ve had many occasions since that SoL contributed to similar iconic moments in our history but as far as I remember that night was the first time it was blasted around the stadium with such passion. I remember a good mate of mine that is a Dons fan telling me how he listened to the game that night on the radio and he said the next day how incredible it sounded even on the radio.
