    I remember that story in the press. Absolutely disgusting that anyone would treat someone like this.

    When I was a kid, there was a boy with Downs Syndrome that lived near us called Jimmy Davie(sp), and all the kids around us loved him to bits.

    He was actually quite a few years older than me but, to us, he was just one of the neighborhood kids. We would always knock on Jimmy's door if we were going to the local park to ask his mum if he could come with us (he had health issues, so couldn't always go).

    He wasn't 'The Down's Syndrome Kid', he was just our mate 'Jimmy'.
