Is this the one where that weird Halliday guy did the lap of honour because he'd scored the winner for sevco in their only big cup final?

Brilliant watch. Fair lifted my spirits.

Looking back, I never allowed myself to believe that we would do it.

A last minute winner. Against Rangers.

    Beyond my wildest dreams.

Absolutely brilliant. We were superb that day and 100% deserved to win. Would love to see "Time for Heroes" out on Netflix or some other. That story deserves to get a global audience

Remember phoning my daughter in tears "we did it!" She had me on speakerphone in a pub full of huns in Inverness 🤣

Sent my wife a text at 4.55pm from Hampden “ Hibees Hibees” she was at Tiger Lily in George Street with my daughter having afternoon tea

She immediately asked my daughter to check the score “3-2 HIBS Full Time” came the reply

Last time they had checked it was 2-1 The Rangers

My wife is a Jambo but she was the first one down the City Chambers the following morning more excited than my two sons who are both dyed in the wool hibbies both were at Hampden and one later admitted to being on the pitch

Will never, ever get sick of watching that.

What a day, what an occasion.

Stokes's first goal still makes my hairs stand on end

Same as I'll never, ever tire of listening to the very clear heart-break in Andy Walker's voice - still the most rabid, ex-Celt, Hun-supporter going !

He was creaming himself over Halliday’s goal

I still sat there at 75 mins today thinking we weren’t going to score while raging with Stokesy when he skied that chance 😁

Very good point, why isn't that on Netflix or amazon. It's incredible!

Or his petty claim that the scenes from the post-match pitch-invasion were 'far worse than the 'Old S*um' riot of the 1980 final' - perhaps Walker was the first to receive a phone-call from Traynor that day, the moment the final-whistle blew ??

A Burd's Commentary On The Final

Warning: Female stereotype in action, must have a light hearted sense of humour to read article.

What a ridiculous statement, especially to anyone who has seen that riot!

Every time you watch it Stokes' peformance gets better

6 more attempts on goal than the entire Rangers team.

Forget McGinn and McGeoch... Fyfie was magnificent.

We talk about the commentator's " Henderson to deliver" line but his constant "hibsed it" references are enough for me to tell him to take that cup win and get it wrapped right roond him.

    Is annoying

First time I've actually watched the full 94 minutes since being at the game.

    What a performance.

The commentary is a total farce. Even the usually excellent crocker, slavers total ****.
