In terms of personnel changes?
Ideally, I’d like to secure permanent deals for Docherty + Omeonga.
In:
LB
DM
CB (to replace McGregor)
Out:
James
McGregor
Naismith
SDG (sadly)
Kamberi
Whittaker - coaching role
Unsure:
I think at least one, or both of Slivka/Mallan will need to move on. Mallan in particular has a lot of ability, but if Docherty and Omeonga are brought in, plus a DM they’ll be squeezed out. I’d definitely keep Mallan if we can’t secure those deals though.
McNulty - I don’t think he’s worth pushing the boat out for. If it doesn’t happen, another forward would need to come in.
Horgan - I don’t think he’ll be happy with a bench role. If he was to go, we’d need a wide option for the left.
Is Mackie good enough? Certainly a LB needs to come in to take over from Stevenson.

I want Whittaker to stay.
He’s been very good when called upon this season.
Playing full back probably hangs him out to dry a bit now (other than in emergencies) but I think we need to be careful about getting rid of all of our most experienced players, certainly ones who are capable of putting in the sort of performances Whittaker has recently.

Whittaker and Slivka are out of contract. Whittaker may be worth a one year deal as a fringe player but the risk is his age. Slivka isn't consistent enough to keep.
The loans for Naismith, McNulty, Docherty and Omeonga will finish. I'd be tempted to keep all four, assuming Naismith can play RWB.
I'd let Mackie and James find another club and sell Kamberi. There's not much between Marciano and Bogdan, so keep one and find a decent back up. We have a lot of midfielders, so I'd move Mallan or Murray if we get Docherty. Probably Mallan as he can't play wide and will be on a higher wage than Murray.
So my summer priorities would be another striker and a LWB who is a better attacker than Stevenson. A total of seven signings (including the loan players) and the following squad.
GK - Marciano/Bogdan, back up
RWB - Boyle, Naismith, Gray
CH - McGinn, Jackson, Hanlon, Porteous, McGregor.
LWB - signing, Stevenson
CM - Allan, Docherty, Newell, Omeonga, Hallberg, Horgan, Mallan/Murray
ST - Doidge, McNulty, Gullan, signing
It can also flex to a 4-4-2 , as the WBs can play FB with the exception of Boyle who would be on the wing opposite Newell or Horgan.Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Whittaker out of contract - Will retire and focus on coaching
Slivka out of contract - will move on
Kamberi - Swap deal for Docherty on a permanent basis
Boyle - get him tied up on a big new contract otherwise he will be sold
Marciano - same as Boyle
Horgan - have a feeling he might move on
Naismith, Omeonga, McNulty - try to sign permanently
Bogdan - longer term contract if Marciano moves on
Mackie & Murray - out on loan
James - will probably move on
Everyone else is under contract and will be staying.
We go back in for Nisbet from the Pars

Another thread trying to sell Boyle and Marciano based on nothing. Boyle is terrific on his day (last night, Aberdeen, hearts) but equally anonymous quite often (Livi twice recently, Motherwell). I don't think anyone is paying big money for him. He is perfect for us and we're perfect for him. He'd be daft to move.

A flood warning for West/Central Edinburgh as the tears of Gorgie and Dalry residents hit a peak when the Championship fixtures are announced.
Where is Greenock? Arbroath? A New Year "River Forth Derby" at Alloa...?

Keeping Docherty if at all possible, a new first choice LB/LWB and sorting out someone to compliment Allan & Docherty in midfield. Those would be my priorities.
Then look at up front and moving on the likes of Slivka, Horgan, James etc.

Hopefully Omeonga's move is made permanent - he's already impressed but I think we've still to see more !

Regardless of position I think we're lacking someone vocal on the park, Captains/Leaders role if you like.

I’d be surprised if either Marciano or Boyle are with us next season. We still stand to get something for them now, so I’d be surprised if we don’t cash in (although I’d rather get another season of football out of them and risk them going for nowt). I’ll
The challenge will be getting in players as good for that cash - likely in Marciano’s case, unlikely for Boyle.

Perfect example of a player who has worked hard to maximise his talent. And who has rewarded the club with performances.
Any potential move would be life changing in many ways.
