That was presumably an original – some of these remakes are decent, but the real thing will always be better.

Don't think so, the site expressly mentioned they're 'unofficial' versions.


Wonder if there would be a market for some sort of official back catalogue, I guess the current shirt sponsors wouldn't be too keen I suppose.

They really should get a cut, I’m sure Hibs could kick up a fuss if they wanted, but it’s maybe such a small operation it’s not worth the bother.

I got that prior to the cup final but it has the sloped badge on. Its very good quality, wish I had s waited for that badge version however.

It's something I've always wondered about. Counterfeit football tops are obviously illegal to distribute but what is it that makes something a 'remake' as opposed to counterfeit/fake? Who is it that approves the remake/ reissue? Is it a grey area?

I'd imagine you'd need to seek permission for mass producing tops with Umbro or Calor Gas brand logo on it also. If anyone knows the legalities of how these kind of things I'd be really interested to know

Ignoring the fact that they're Liverpool tops, they are really smart.

I'd love Hibs to come out with something similar.
