That can't be true. Dodgy weather is a recent phenomenon due to climate change is it not? 😜This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Storm no name was raging last night. Still blowing a gale out there. Dire conditions to try and play football in but I can’t see the game being off.

If it really was just a 'little bit of rain and wind', there wouldn't be any discussions on here.
I'd imagine a lot of people would be put off attending today if the weather is really bad, so it's a reasonable topic to discuss.
On the bright side, we're less likely to be bothered with Seagulls.

Can we please give the current weather a name, so people take it seriously.
I think the last one started with a 'D', so we're on 'E' now.
Storm Edwina?
p.s. Now torrential Hailstones battering aff ma windaes.

St Mirren's fixture against Hearts was postponed yesterday after heavy rain. I'm assuming the pitch was waterlogged?
What has been the difference in rainfall recently between Paisley and Edinburgh, if any?

Just gone very gloomy here and it's sleeting.
Fortunately the game isn't here but at Easter Road so I'll be leaving soon.Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Weather is horrific here in Corstorphine just now. Game will go ahead but I think it will be a low crowd. Can’t blame anyone for not wanting to go out in that.

It’s currently very heavy rain at the stadium
I wouldn’t be disappointed if it was called off

No doubt it will start back up again. It’s been one of those mornings, you don’t know what the weather is going to be like come kick off.

I had snow, hail, thunder and lightning with a gale force wind when out with the dog at midday. Mental.

West coast Hibbie here.
Usually take car to home games but has been playing up so decided to get train (3 of us)
As I live in Bishopbriggs plan was to get the train from Briggs to Croy and then catch Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh train from there.
Got to Croy for 11 10 as planned but 11 14, 11 42 and 12 14 from Queen Street arriving at Croy all cancelled due to electrical problems and no guarantee problem will be resolved. Problems are presumably weather-related as its very windy and wet here.
Given up - delay in getting train back from Croy to Briggs.
Will have to decide whether to attempt to ignore the score and watch delayed transmission on Alba - probably wont succeed in ignoring result!

Just been for a walk and the weather is really not great for football.
Like others said it’s the wind which is really bad - it just happens sleet and hail are in between this.
Maybe the stands will give some protection but not expecting today to be pretty.
