He's had his critics this season, including myself, but can we all agree he was absolutely immense today.
There was an incident in the 2nd half in which Burke turned Lewis inside out when he cut back on to his left foot and lifted a ball into an area where 3 Kille players were lining up to score. PH read it, got into the right area and made a crucial and brilliant defensive header.
I think a 3 at the back suits him perfectly.

Been much better since the break.
Left of a back three is his best position.

He has been much better since Porteous has been out. I don't think that is a co-incidence and I also don't think he was anywhere near as bad as some were making out.

Sometimes you can see what people mean to an extent but for me he’s just a class footballer that we’re lucky to have.

His positioning, especially for crosses from a wide area and cut backs, is exceptional. The amount of blocks he wins by reading the game is outstanding in those situations.

He looks much better when partnered with Jackson, than anyone else this season so hopefully they continue to play together.

Excellent today in terrible conditions for football.

He definitely fell out of form for a while but since the turn of the year he's been immense again. Had heard he was playing with a few injuries last season when his form went right out the window, so not sure if he's finally starting to get back to a comfortable level again.

Delighted to see Paul back to his best at Killie today. Thought both him and Jackson were immense in getting us the 3 points.

Life in the old dog yet. Feeling a bit guilty I consigned him to the scrap heap (with the rest of the remaining 2016 back line) earlier in the season. Him and Jackson have the makings of a good CB partnership, hope it continues.

Absolutely rock solid today against some tricky attacking players. Captain courageous and bleeds green. Well done Paul.

Couldn't believe a select few had labelled him as done. So much left in him yet, a player in his prime. Excellent today, more of the same please Paul.

He was excellent today, as was the whole defence and the defending of the team as a whole. Although I still felt our failing at stopping crosses coming in was evident, particularly from Burke on our left hand side. Although he’s probably in contention for player of the year so no easy task to stop his crosses at source.

I have never understood the thinking of the anti Hanlon brigade on here. Yes he makes the odd mistake like every other centre half in the league but he is Hibs through and through and never gives less than 100% for the club. One of the best central defenders in the league in my opinion.
