    Stevenson’s Pass

Deserves a thread of its own.

Came on and almost instantly made an assist with possibly the best pass of his career, at least that I’ve seen.

Anyone got a video of it?

Maybe since the bridge was closed last week, he worked from home and watched Scott Allan videos and practiced in the back garden.

Tbf...when Bridge not available, Lewis could simply walk over the Forth.

It's not an assist though? We didn't score

    Allan-esque in its quality.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

I thought "almost instantly" referred to the timescale not the fact it was nearly a goal. I stand corrected.

Lewis was better than fine when he came on today. Point to prove maybe?

I think the pass you're talking about is included in the official SPFL highlights video of the game on YouTube, at about 2:39

    https://youtu.be/zPz0J14Cx8s

    Disclaimer :-
In the past there's been times when such videos are available here (USA) before the UK
So maybe this one won't be view-able in the UK until sometime tomorrow/Monday

It tends to represent someone taking the piss, mocking a comment. Basically a sign of immaturity and no ability to contribute to a discussion.

    Hope this helps.

It does. Perhaps '...instantly almost...' or '...almost instantly almost...' was what was intended.

I noticed Horgan and Slivka also putting in nice through balls for a runner yesterday. It seems like Scott Allan has been hosting seminars called 'How To Put In A Through Ball' at HTC.

Pretty much this. Except a wish not to contribute to a discussion rather than an inability to.

Can’t understand how some fans don’t rate him.

He’s a 7/8 most games, and even when he’s bothering a 5, which isn’t often, he never hides and always gives 100%.

Got totally steamrolled by the big BSC laddie for their goal though, so we were due a pass like that to make up for it 😁

I’m still trying to work out what surprised me more. The pass or the fact he was sprinting up the right wing.

neither surprise me to be honest. He is still a very good player and Newell making a bid for his place is great for teh club. I get the feeling Lewis will work as hard as he can to get back in.

He's a good option to have on the bench, his high energy play is useful when playing our new formation to come on and see out a game

Wait till the yams come with that high defensive line lol. Play like that and we will rip them apart.

I love Lewis but he hit that pass with the outside of his left as he had no option given where he was! Other than to turn back, of course. Beautifully executed. The Kirkcaldy Bergkamp.

The Kirkcaldy Bergkamp would be an excellent username in tribute to Stevenson
