Very good performance tonight. January signings have made a great impact and the summer arrivals continue to prove their true ability.

Jackson, Docherty and Boyle all superb. Newell did well in a difficult role.
To think that so many blamed Hecky for HIS crap summer signings. He was only a Head Coach at Barnsley and for 5 minutes at Leeds. His scouting network and influence over recruitment would have been minimal.

Maybe we can now start to see why we promoted Graeme Mathie rather than let him go to Rangers or Kille? His sourcing and signing strategy over the past two windows has been pretty impressive.

I'm not worried about Killie winning. I'm looking at Motherwell tbh

    Hanlon was excellent.

    Even lower post count.

    Well said.

I've always believed that Hecky was an incompetent and stubborn manager.

He couldn't see what many of us could see. Thank goodness he's gone.

The players were mostly good, it's just that Hecky had no idea how to play them.

We still have to play Killie, Livingston, St Johnstone, Aberdeen, Hamilton, Celtic and Hearts before the split. So it’s in our own hands to secure a top 6 spot

Funnily enough I was thinking the same thing. A good win, with no goals conceded and the post count is really low.

The summer recruitment still left us with a very unbalanced squad.

Except for the Livingston win, it was a Carlsberg evening.

    I'm very concerned.

Right now, I'll be relieved if we don't lose.

Hopefully things will work out despite the selection difficulties.

    Worked out alright eh?

We should be wiping the floor with the lot of them bar Celtic and Aberdeen will be a tough game.

Obviously it wonít happen but the players should go in with the confidence to do so especially after tonight. 16 points out of those 7 games and il be happy 😅

Absolutely 100% agree with you. He didn't know what he was doing and we are well rid of him.

Great result and a really enjoyable performance. Well done to the team. Deserved 3 points. Hope we play like that again in the next match against Kilmarnock.

Eight points behind Motherwell and Aberdeen with twelve games left.

Unlikely we'll catch them but let's at least try.
