Personally not a fan of that team. Slivka being back in seems strange and not sure Newell has it in him to get up and down on that left hand side.

Strange to drop Omeonga unless he has a knock.
Hadn’t considered that Docherty would be considered for a wing back spot but he definitely has the legs for it. Newell would seem a more obvious choice.

Newell was the guy that played the defensive mid role in the 1st half against St Mirren, sitting in front of the back 4, taking the ball from the defenders and keeper and linking the ball into the guys ahead of him. Could see him between the back 3 and the midfielders again tonight. Hanlon, Newell, Slivka and Docherty are all comfy on the ball so should complement each other.
My only concern is McGinn in the back 3, would have preferred the tackling and heading ability of Daz.

Still don't understand a winter break , then a barrow load of league games, during late January and February. Not fair on players or fans.
