Find it pretty surprising that the club are not actively pushing the potential walk up buys on social media.

Last tweet out from Hibs was the final score of the development team.

    Not really helping themselves.

My post was referring to social media. I appreciate they have posted an article on the website. I’m just thinking of the younger generation who will spend any bit of free time at work today flicking through social media who might be tempted by the game would be targeted better on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram than the Hibs website.

They can't even get their prices right as the Famous Five lower is £12 for kids not £8.

Maybe both clubs presumed we'd be guaranteed a big crowd for the replay, because we had 3k at Tannadice.

I still think they should have reduced prices for this, to encourage a big attendance (and partly as a thank you to fans). Any money made from tonight's match is basically a bonus.

Looking online at the ticket sales - looks really small crowd. Doubt it will be over 10k.

I fully agree they got the pricing wrong for this and they should have done what Newcastle did at the weekend to fill the stadium up with cheap tickets.

The result an empty stadium which will probably help Utd.

It's not the fans fault the club has no clue has to market games and takes the fans for granted in an expensive month.

The fact that most of us think we’ll see 11-12 k tops when a year or two ago this would have easily been 15000 plus says it all about where we are. The board want to take note as it’s an indication as to how much season ticket renewals could drop by if they don’t get their fingers oot

I’m not sure this fixture, in these circumstances, would ever have attracted 15k plus to be honest. Home crowds in the early rounds of cup competitions, unless it’s a derby are always lower. Big appetite for the away day, but rarely at home.

Not a chance we'd have got 15k for a Tuesday night replay against Dundee United over the last few years

If this fixture was 2017 or 2018 we’d have seen 15000 IMO

QF at home to Ayr on a Saturday the season after we won the cup only drew 13k

Fair enough but I’m not sure. Quick look and a Saturday quarter final, the season after we won it was only 13k. Midweek league cup quarter final in 2017 was only 8k.

I take your general point on reducing crowds though.

The closest equivalent I could think of is the 2017 league cup quarter final v Livi.

    8,500 in attendance.
    Mon the Hibs.

We only got 9130 for Raith last season.

I wouldn't put all the blame on Hibs, as I think Dundee United would have had a say on the ticket prices. However, I agree that £22 is too high a price for a game on a freezing cold January night when many folk are struggling for cash.

Add in Hibs inconsistent form, and the continuing delay in entering into the transfer market to strengthen some obvious weaknesses in the team, and it all adds up to the prospect of a very poor home support sadly.

Where are you seeing this. I’d have guessed 1,500 max, but this is a huge turnout

Remember them bringing a big crowd down for the league cup quarters a couple of years back.

They’ve always brought a decent number to ER. Need teams like United back in the Premiership

I’m sure they sold out the whole south stand that night

Need teams like that back in the premiership over garbage like Hamilton

  25. #54
Should stick them in the top tier of the West stand. Will be some boost for them attacking that end

Yup - they put us at the side - ok whole side but we could have least put them South Upper.

Not sure who makes these decisions at Hibs at times.
