Presumably can't cope with two games after such a long lay off.

    Hopefully not injured.

Big test for James today against Motherwell’s pace out wide. Will need the help from midfield that he didn’t get in that semi final.

Boyle will be a big help.

Good opportunity for James to show what he's made of. Thought he looked half decent in pre-season and the first few games of the season.

Hopefully he has the same kind of post-heckingbottom revival as Doidge & Newell.

Definitely happy for him to start with a clean slate.

Serious test for us today - Motherwell are a decent team - on their day.
Ross has to have the team motivated right from the KO - looking forward to seeing if we can take anything from this game

Yes, should give them confidence that if you perform then get a place in the team.
Glad he has gone for James instead of exposing Whittaker to the pace of Motherwell.
Slivka is the one bombed out totally by the looks of it, Murray and Gullan preferred on bench

I can’t ever remember a time going to fir park and thinking this is a nailed on loss. Today is that I’m afraid. 2-0 Motherwell

    🙏 I’m wrong though.

Motherwell have lost at home four times in the league this year - two were to Aberdeen and Rangers certainly, but Ross County and Hamilton have also done it.

Will be a very hard game but don’t see it as a foregone conclusion.

James, Newell, Horgan, kamberi, Doidge, all poor.
