Anyway, the DR actually has quite a funny article predicting events in Scottish Football for the year ahead



Here's the Hearts specific content for the first half of the year.


JANUARY

Hearts manager Daniel Stendel faces criticism of his approach as the window shuts, but insists: “We end the window in a far stronger position than when we started it”. One reporter says: “But Daniel, you’ve got rid of half the squad and not brought in any replacements”.... “Exactly” replies Stendel.

FEBRUARY

Hearts manager Daniel Stendel spends February showing up at weddings in order to sack the groom. “Who are you? What are you talking about? I’m a financial adviser” says one, to which Stendel replies: “Not any longer you’re not”.

APRIL

With relegation confirmed, Daniel Stendel uses the last few games of the season to give some game time to players who aren’t at Premiership level. He names an unchanged side from the previous six weeks.

MAY

Daniel Stendel is sacked as Ann Budge fails to take into account the fact that the manager only had Hearts players at his disposal.

JUNE

“It’s time for some new ideas around here” says Stendel’s replacement........ Craig Levein.
