I have a very bad feeling about this. They are full of confidence and I’ll expect them to go after us right from the start. Hopefully we don’t fall into the trap of starting slowly.

Agree this will be a tough one, but we are more than capable of winning this and should be expecting to do so if we turn up.
My main worry is our lightweight midfield against a championship team where midfields tend to be even more robust...
Predict Boyle to rip them a new one though

Depends which Hibs side turns up.
The recent Tynecastle team or the Livi away side.
May be somewhere inbetween..
Utd are probably used to going at teams so may suit Hibs playing on the break but I think we need to score 1st and ideally get a 2nd as I think Utd will get at least 1.
Worry is we have only added 1 player (3 if you include Block and Gullan??) and lost 1 to injury. I hope Gullan gets involved at some point as rate him.

Hope they don't play Block. He played for Queens Park in the cup against QoS.

Just watched the semi final penalties again. Crocker makes another great line in the celebrations
One day Hibs, one day, surely?
Cue pandemonium

I am nervous. I think it’s a really tough game and a tram we won’t know much about. We have to be in it for 90 minutes and treat like it is - a difficult cup tie.
I would be gutted if we get knocked out at this stage. A Scottish cup run keeps the excitement going for rest of the season.
Would take a replay now if I am honest. Come on Hibs.

Nice one from Cosgrove bringing this history and connection of both clubs up.
The early Hibernian story and the clubs impact throughout Scotland, both in sport and Scottish society during those days, could certainly make a multi episode tv series.
And if you know your history ....
