Remember reading his story on twitter, the Motherwell twitter account released a video featuring Robinson on mental health and Byrnes replied slating the video because Robinson had allegedly bullied him out of Oldham Athletic whilst he was manager there, never seemed to go any further than that though.

Here's another article of another former player of Robinson's defending him, regardless of what the truth is, it's definitely further bad publicity for the guy.

I witnessed the aftermath of this, though not the actual incident. I think there’s more to this from what saw and heard between him, his girlfriend and the police. There could be parallels to the Caroline Flack incident.

Probably one reason why Hibs and Hearts didn’t consider him for the vacant posts at both clubs, when on paper he was an obvious candidate to take a step to a bigger platform. The Motherwell chairman spoke on Off the Ball at the weekend at his surprise that no enquiries were made from Hibs and Hearts, but I think we can see the answer why.

This incident happened mid December though.

True, but there has been suggestions his character isn’t that which would find favour with Hibs. The December incident maybe proof that he was rightly not considered.

Don’t think the court case cost him the Hibs job as Jack Ross was always first choice, but reckon it cost him the Hearts Job. Mind you that could probably have been the only good thing to have come out of this stressful time for him looking at that basket case of a club presently
