A contract till summer leaves things up in the air still.
Probably means that if Ofir moves on in the summer we will give Adam a decent contract and bring in a new 2nd keeper who may or may not be Maxwell. Might mean we are paying 3 keepers for the rest of this season if we can't find Chris a new club in the window.
A contract until the summer seems like a stalling move to keep Adam with us in the meantime.

Adam is back meaning if Rocky is upping sticks then we are covered with young Kevin stepping up. If Rocky stays we have excellebt competition and Keven can continue to develop as a first pick keeper with a Championship loan... at the Tinycastle😁

It's tough for the young guys.
Once they hit 22, they either make the step up or are gone.
Judged every day at the club and worse judged harshly on places like this forum.
Even someone as talented as Sam Stanton was eventually cut adrift and had to drop back a couple of levels to get another run at it.
It's why folk should support the likes of Oli Shaw because he is a young guy fighting against the odds.

I actually think keepers should get until they're 24/25 before being discarded if they're not showing signs of being terrible. A lot of keepers come onto a game later on in their career and always find it weird that they dont get an extra few years coming out of youth systems.
